Dr. Bryan O’Young is a professor and vice chair of education at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. Assistant Professor Frane Grubišić, MD, PhD, specialist in physical and rehabilitation medicine, subspecialist in rheumatology, is Head of the Division for the Adult Rheumatology at the Department of Rheumatology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, University Hospital Center “Sestre Milosrdnice” in Zagreb, Croatia.
His area and research of interest are evidence based medicine (eg. methodology, systematic reviews..), biomechanics, spondyloarthropathies (epidemiology, clinical aspects, outcome measures, conservative treatment), rheumatoid arthritis and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal diseases.
He is newly elected president of the Croatian Society for Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine and first vice president of the Croatian Society of Vertebrology. He is author or co-author of the number of both scientific and expert publications from the area of rheumatology and physical and rehabilitation medicine and serves as a peer-reviewer in various national and international journals.

• From 1998 till 2011 I headed the medical rehabilitation team at Elwafa Med. Rehab, Hospital – Gaza.
• In 2014-2015, I Completed a one diploma course on palliative care and pain management from German-Jordanian University – Amman.
• Since 2008, I have started an initiative to promote the concepts and practice of Evidence-Based medicine (EBM). from 2015 till 2018 I was invited to take up a full master program in EBM at Oxford university. and since then, I have conducted tens of lectures and workshops on the different aspects and practicalities of Health research & Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM). I am also teaching Neuroscience, Neuro-rehabilitation and Pain medicine at the faculty of Medicine- Islamic University where Iam also chairing the research and EBM Unit.

Dr. Serdar Kocer graduated from the University of Istanbul, school of Medicine in 1988. He completed Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency program at University of Rennes, France in 1993. He is the head of the Neuro Rehabilitation departement in Coubert Rehabilitation Centre, near Paris. The Neuro Rehabilitation departement has a 100 in-patient capacity dedicated to the Spinal Cord Injury and Multiple Sclerosis , post Stroke and post Traumatic Brain injury rehabilitation. He supervises the Urodynamic Lab, Gait lab, Medical Imaging unit and the multidisciplinary spasticity clinic. He is also certified as Ultrasonographer and he has been using ultrasonography for more than 20 years. Dr. Kocer is recognized as an expert in ultrasound guided injection as he has been organizing value added trainings on that specific injection technique for more than 10 years from all over the world. His research and clinical interests lie in the area of musculoskeletal ultrasonography, spasticity treatment and neuro-urology. Dr. Kocer is a member of the French Society of Radiology and French Society of Rehabilitation Medicine.

Walter R. Frontera, MD, PhD, is Professor in the Departments of Physical Medicine, Rehabilitation, and Sports Medicine (PM&R) and Physiology and Biophysics at the University of Puerto Rico (UPR). During the last 35 years he has served as Professor and Inaugural Chair of PM&R at Harvard Medical School, Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, and the UPR as well as Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the UPR. His main research interest is geriatric rehabilitation and in particular the study of the mechanisms underlying age-related muscle atrophy and weakness and the potential benefits of exercise in older adults. He has more than 300 scientific publications including 118 peer-reviewed articles and 12 edited books. His books have been translated into Chinese, Italian, Korean, Portuguese, Persian, and Spanish. Currently, Dr. Frontera serves as Editor-in-Chief of The American Journal of PM&R. He is the Immediate Past-President of the International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ISPRM). Dr. Frontera is an elected member of the National Academy of Medicine of the United States and Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (London), American Association for the Advancement of Science, and the American Physiological Society. He was a visiting professor at the Karolinska Hospital in Sweden and honorary professor at the Nanjing Medical University in China. Dr. Frontera has presented more than 400 invited lectures in 59 countries and has served as a member of two committees of the World Health Organization on topics related to long-term care and sarcopenia.
